Problem
Approximately 7% of elementary school children in the general public and almost half the children suffering from neurodivergent disabilities have trouble mastering school and daily routines. This may have long term consequences, such as lower average incomes, higher incidences of unemployment, and a higher likelihood of experiencing a permanent state of marginalization in society.
SOLUTION
Tackl’s app Habiit uses cognitive behavioral therapy and positive reinforcement techniques to help solve three challenges.
- Structure: Giving the child a better overview and control over everything that will happen during a week.
- Motivation: Applying a digital reward system to make it more motivating to complete tasks and routines.
- Reflection: Providing the child with an opportunity to express opinions and feelings about what happens before and at school.
