Human screwdriving processes are time-consuming and inefficient and wear out employees over time.

SOLUTION

Spin Robotics’ screwdriving solutions insert six screws in less than a minute, even in narrow and hard-to-reach spaces while ensuring the highest employee safety with the built-in safety sensor and a safety shield.

The solution seeks to free assembly workers from tasks that can cause injuries, and ensure that employees are responsible for more creative, meaningful, and satisfactory work. The focus is set on versatility, quick changeover between differing screwdriving tasks, safety for and around employees, as well as industry 4.0 connectivity.

The solution is easy to set-up and operate, and relevant in a wide range of industries, be it the Automotive, Locomotive and Marine industry, Small and Industrial Electronics, Home and Medical Appliances, Logistics and Communications.

KEY CUSTOMERS AND INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE

Spin Robotics' customers include large Danish corporations like Grundfos, Danfoss and Vestas and numerous companies across Europe. Presently Spin Robotics have distributors in 14 European countries and one in the United States, and expect to reach 60 European distributors by the end of 2022.

The team has strong experience within Robotics: Thomas Sølund (CTO) has an MSc & Ph.D. in Robotics, Larry Haisley from Product development is a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and Sune Straarup Jensen, responsible for Robot motion control, has a MSc in Robotic engineering.
