Problem
The rapid technological developments experienced in recent decades have led to much of the elderly generation being inexperienced in utilizing vital everyday technologies. The COVID-19 pandemic isolated many elderly, creating a need for adapting modern communication technology to older generations. This is especially the case with being in regular contact with relatives and to be able to handle online consultations on their own.
SOLUTION
Videolink has developed a small microcomputer and webcam connected to the user’s TV, whereby remotely controlled video calls can be undertaken, without the consumer having to do anything physical to receive the call. Videolink is especially suitable for elderly or vulnerable people, who are not used to or do not have the ability to utilise modern technology. The technology allows the user to be closer to relatives, and is therefore especially suitable as a communication solution during periods requiring isolation, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

Relatives to elderly and disabled people (B2C), B2B partnerships (Finland, Sweden, Norway, France, Japan, and China), and B2G (we are in dialogue with several municipalities in DK).
Team
The Videolink team consists of a strong team with extensive experience within the field of business, marketing, automation, sales, logistics, banking, and IT development and especially deep insights into the Silver Economy. The founding members have worked at companies such as e.g., LEGO, Grundfos, Leo Pharma, The Coca-Cola Company before starting Videolink ApS, and are highly diverse in terms of professional background and competencies.

Asia Connection
Videolink is already operating in Japan and China, and is actively looking to strengthen their East Asian operations. They are looking for distribution partners, clients, and funding from across the East Asian region.
