Problem
Global demand for particle free water is growing rapidly due to the rise in global R&D expenditure and growing demand from semiconductor industries and life science.
By removing the smallest nano contamination in water used in semiconductor manufacturing the yield can increase, leading to increased profit.
The semiconductor industry also uses huge amounts of water, as much as 7500 liters of ultra pure water is needed to clean one silicon wafer. Chemicals is also added in the cleaning process making the waste water difficult to handle.
SOLUTION
NSS Water have developed a new patent process to produce the world’s first nanopure water (NPW), that is free of any contaminations above 5-10 nanometers. Their technological solutions revolutionize the production of ultrapure water, by significantly improving pureness, and reducing water use up to 90% in certain manufacturing steps.
KEY CUSTOMERS AND INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE
NSS Water currently targets semiconductor manufacturers, life science and bio-chemistry.
Team
Behind NSS Water Enhancement Technology is a team of six professional individuals with diverse backgrounds, spanning from semiconductor industry, process industry and innovation and business development. The team has a strong network of leading stakeholders within the industry due to their previous experience and background.
Unique selling point
NSS Water has developed the world's first nanopure water solution, with extreme purity water, that remains easy to use and install. The core technology is highly scalable and allows 'point-of-use'-application.
Asia Connection
NSS Water has an established company in Korea as well as office in Seoul. The main traction so far in Asia is in Korea and NSS Water work closely with KITIA (Korea Core Industrial Technology Investment Association) and Business Sweden Seoul office. During spring 2024 there will also be additional focus on Taiwan, Japan and China. The main market is semiconductor manufacturers in Asia.
