Problem
Air pollution and noise is a major issue in most modern cities. Pollution reduces quality of life, causes or exacerbates illness, and lowers productivity. In Tokyo alone, Greenpeace estimated that air pollution caused 40,000 premature deaths in 2020, and EUR 40 billion in economic losses.
SOLUTION
Leapcraft provides environmental monitoring and IoT solutions for cities, buildings and transport systems that enable measurement, monitoring and benchmarking of air quality, thermal comfort and noise. The Leapcraft sensors capture data from more than 15 parameters and transfers the real-time information into an AI-powered software system, helping authorities and individuals make data-driven decisions.
The system can be used for optimizing air quality and thermal comfort via integrations to Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. It can forecast the risk of spreading airborne diseases, mold and contaminants in workspaces, and optimize floor space utilization based on occupancy data, by integrating analytics on utilization, capacity and trend forecasting
KEY CUSTOMERS & INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE
Leapcraft has intensified their international presence by establishing business operations in various European countries USA and Mexico.
Leapcraft has also engaged in distribution and co-operation partnerships with large players in the smarty city and smart building segments including CISCO, ABB, Velux Group and Lindab Group amongst others.
Unique selling point
Leapcraft’s solution can help save 30-40% of energy consumption in buildings due to HVAC optimization, and improve the productivity and health of occupants due to the indoor climate tracking and monitoring.
Asia Connection
Asia, especially Japan, represents an important market for Leapcraft with a focus on health and well being, as well as high quality building stock. Leapcraft is looking for distribution partners, clients, and co-investors.
