Problem
50% of the world's population has poor or no internet connectivity, and especially in rural areas internet access is often unstable or unaffordable.
SOLUTION
MiWire has developed RouDem, a hardware device that combines advanced algorithms and antenna technologies to deliver up to 10x faster internet speeds in areas with poor mobile coverage. With a unique directional antenna that automatically finds the best mobile mast, MiWire is able to guarantee fast and stable internet connection on standard 4G/5G mobile data networks. They sell their RouDem device, network management system and data subscription as a combined plug and play solution.
KEY CUSTOMERS AND INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE
MiWire's primary customers are private households, enterprises and the maritime segment. Presently they have sold 2,000 land based wireless access points and 80 maritime solutions, including private households, construction sites, schools, hospitals, broadcasting, Ukrainian refugee camps, cargo vessels, fishing trawlers, ferries and recreational vessels. 600 wireless systems have been implemented outside of Denmark, mainly in Latin America and globally to the maritime segment. They mainly sell through partners and international distribution networks.
Unique selling point
MiWire extends the range of the existing mobile data network by using an intelligent, automatic, turning antenna.
Asia Connection
MiWire already imports components from China and is now looking for distribution partners, funding, talent, R&D. and, new ideas from across the East Asian region.
