Problem
The trucking industry faces multiple challenges, including high fuel cost and an acute shortage of experienced drivers.
SOLUTION
BaseTracK offers a plug & play-based solution for assisted driving in human-driven trucks and autonomous driving for trucks without drivers. The solution improves driver efficiency by showing real-time driving recommendations in accordance with the particular road, truck, and load it carries or by automating acceleration/ deceleration of trucks with BaseTracK’s Energy-Efficient Cruise-Control feature. During POCs, BaseTrack has achieved up to 32% fuel efficiency in comparison to a regular driver not using the system. The solution is a simplified version of BaseTracK’s existing autonomous trucking technology, that is presently being implemented on public roads.
KEY CUSTOMERS AND INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE
BaseTrack presently has 62 clients within transport, logistics, and FMCG, with a total fleet of more than 30,000 trucks. Their current key customer is FM Logistic that also provides commercial cargo for the Autonomous Trucking service. In addition, BaseTracK is preparing autonomous trucking projects with three more companies in Europe, and negotiating an Autonomous Trucking project with Sumitomo in the Middle East.

The founding team has 11-year business-owning experience in the area of geoinformatics and the technical team with a scientific background including a Doctor of Technical Science in automotive.
