Traditional dairy production is burdened by numerous environmental and ethical issues, including deforestation, greenhouse gas emissions, and animal welfare. Also, many people can’t consume traditional dairy products due to lactose intolerance, nor can they consume popular non-dairy alternatives due to nut and/or soy allergies.
