PROBLEM
The demand for MRI and CT scannings is increasing by nearly 10% a year, and there is a global shortage of radiologists who are able to analyze the ever increasing volume of images. In addition, there is a large untapped potential for increased efficiency in brain MRI, both in terms of automated analysis, reduced scan time and improved patient prioritization.
SOLUTION
Cerebriu has developed Apollo, a smart protocol technology that optimizes brain MRI scan acquisition and patient management. It offers real-time decision support to optimize the protocol at the MRI console, ensuring the acquisition of the right sequence for the right patient at the right time.
Apollo’s Smart Protocol enables the optimization of MRI utilization, reduces unnecessary image acquisition and improves the technologist’s confidence at the MRI console. Cerebriu Apollo solution is regulated as a medical device (CE-marked). Cerebriu Apollo conforms to Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC
KEY CUSTOMERS & INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE
Cerebriu has already partnered with leading hospitals in Denmark, USA, Norway, India, Israel and Brazil.
Team
Cerebriu’s team counts 34 employees with decades of experience within medical imaging, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
UNIQUE SELLING POINTS
Enhances patient prioritization during scans to alert when critical pathologies are identified, thus initiating faster management
Reduce unnecessary sequences, scan time and excess data, thus reducing time to determine protocol and re-examinations.
Fast-track patients with no critical findings, thus reducing in-patient burden and discomfort.
Asia Connection
Cerebriu’s value proposition fits well to the neuroimaging workflow conducted in many hospitals across East Asia, and is looking for radiology and hospital partners seeking to optimize their brain MRI workflow process.
