Problem

Moving to a foreign country you know nothing about for the long term is scary and lonely - when it doesn't have to be.

SOLUTION

Hemavi allows you to secure accommodation, sign the rental agreement digitally, match with like-minded friends. Throughout your entire stay, our support staff is always there for you to give you personalized advice on how to settle into your new life.

KEY CUSTOMERS AND INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE

Hemavi’s main customers are internationals in their 20s moving abroad for work or studies, and landlords looking to rent out an apartment or a spare room for longterm periods. Hemavi is currently present in Sweden and Denmark, but is now ready for international expansion.

Team

The numerous challenges tied to moving to a new country, is something every single member of the founding team has personally faced at multiple points in time. Their very culturally diverse team (Egypt, Sweden, Mauritius) were once newcomers to Sweden, the US, Norway, Singapore, the UK and China. As a result, Hemavi has been built to solve something we each deeply care about.

Unique selling point

Hemavi focuses primarily on internationals moving abroad alone. Instead of focusing on one service, e.g. housing, we focus on one user persona, get to know them deeply, and then provide a range of services that are relevant to them across their whole moving journey.

Asia Connection

Hemavi is planning to expand to Asia in Q1 2025, and looking primarily at Tokyo at the moment. This would require both funding from Asian investors, and strategic partnerships from people based in the city.
