A relatively new program, Startboard was founded with the goal to assist foreigners, mainly from SE Asia, in setting up companies in Taiwan as a way to help retain some of the country’s 30k foreign students.  They help founders ideate and begin companies and are partnered with local stakeholders who can assist founders with R&D. Startboard is also a major player in startup ecosystem building and hosts events for foreigners looking to enter the ecosystem.
